Today, we visited Herd Farm to learn more about how people lived during the Stone Age. We learnt how to build Stone Age shelters, then how to build Stone Age round houses. We even created our own fencing using branches, twigs and Stone Age tools.
Later on, we went into a replica of a round house. It was very dark. We experienced what it must have been like for men and women during the Stone Age.
We learnt about the different types of tools, including hand axes, flint scythes and regular axes. It was incredible to see the evolution of tools over time.
