It was Maths Day here at Goldsborough Primary School today! Our book focus was 'How Many Jelly Beans?' and Sycamore class got to enjoy lots of fun and creative activities using jelly beans. Some of the activities included data handling, substitution and forming 3D shapes. Here you can see that we imagined that money has disappeared and jelly beans were the new currency. Each colour had its own worth and we had to calculate what our handful was worth. What a wonderful day it was!
