In a digital age where computers, laptops, tablets and Smartphones are readily available in many homes and schools, it is vital that children are taught about the importance of using the internet safely.
In school, all content is filtered via North Yorkshire County Council's chosen web filtering service provider, 'Smoothwall'. In addition, pupils are taught the importance of internet safety in all classes, as part of the wider curriculum, in assemblies and through visits by local Police officers and ChildLine.
