Sycamore had a wonderful visit to our local allotment, where the children harvested potatoes that were planted last year. Afterwards, a kind gentleman who owns a plot there gave us an insightful talk about the plant cycle, explaining how vegetables grow from seed to harvest. He also showed us some of the corn and courgettes he had grown himself. The children were fascinated by the process and are now very excited to plant their own vegetables this year!
