The children have been studying the text 'Cave Baby' for the last two weeks. They have been retelling the story and sequencing the events. They created their own cave art and we described the animals in the story using noun phrases. The children wrote their own narratives and confidently used adjectives in their writing.
The EYFS children drew the characters. The year 1 children tried so hard with their writing. Can you see the two year 1 pieces of writing here?
Year 2 are becoming more confident in writing full narratives and using 'and' to extend their sentences.
