Reaching out to the local community was more important than ever this year as the Covid-19 Guidelines means that we are unable to welcome guests to school or visit the church as frequently as we would have in previous years.

After lots of discussion about wanting a big impact poppy display for the community to enjoy, Mrs Wastling had the wonderful idea of teaching Class 4 to crochet so that they could make poppies to display on our school fence. We agreed to make extra so that we could hand them to Rev. Stroma to distribute to the wider community.

It had exactly the impact we hoped for to show our community that we are thinking about them and of course those who lost their lives fighting.
