We had a lovely Departure Day - the new igloo reading corner was an instant hit and our visit from Waddle the cross penguin was very exciting. He wanted the children to teach everyone in school about penguins and exactly where they come from. As you can see from their posters the children in Class 1 proudly rose to the challenge, creating informative posters to share with the other children in school. We rounded off the week with hot chocolate and waffles for our intrepid Arctic explorers.
