On Monday we had a very special science day to help us launch our new scientific symbols that we are now using in science. We did 3 different experiments throughout the day. First we had a self inflating balloon, we made a chemical reaction that produced a gas and the gas filled the balloon. The children thought it was fantastic the way the balloon inflated by itself. Experiment 2 was the fizzy rockets, again we made a different chemical reaction that produced a gas but this time it sent our bottle rocket flying up in the air. Then lastly we looked at different seeds and asked the question ' Do bigger seeds grow bigger plants?'. We planted different sized seeds and will track their progress.
Everyone really enjoyed the exciting experiments that we did today.
