As part of our Art and Culture week the whole school have been learning about the Sikh religion. The children in Monkey Puzzle joined with Sweetchestnut class to find out about what happens in a Gurdwara. We loved hearing about the Langar and how the sharing of food is such an important part of the Sikh religion.
We all made our own Jasmine flowers and the children had a wonderful afternoon setting up their own Langar together in the garden together. Such amazing use of language to show what they had understood. Well done everyone!
