Sycamore Class visited Murton Park today, joining their friends from two other schools from within the federation—Sicklinghall and Admiral Long.
The children had an immersive journey back to Ancient Rome, where they participated in military marching, crafted oil lamps, explored the fort, and discovered Roman culture. They also learnt how Roman soldiers coordinated on the battlefield, becoming one of history’s most formidable fighting forces.
It was a fascinating and enjoyable learning experience for everyone involved!
