We walked down to our local church to take part in a special "prayer space" event. Children engaged in 12 different activities, all designed to help them understand that prayer can happen anywhere. One activity involved placing a candle on a large world map and praying for people across the globe, while another allowed them to draw something they were sorry for and then erase it as a way of saying sorry. The experience helped the children reflect on their understanding in a meaningful and creative way.
