This half term, Sycamore class have been on an exciting journey of discovery, learning all about Sikhism. As part of their curriculum, they have been exploring the 5 K's, which are a fundamental part of Sikh identity. This week, the children had the opportunity to create a booklet all about the 5 K's, where they delved deeper into the meaning and significance of each one. From the Kesh (uncut hair) to the Kara (steel bracelet), the children learnt about each of the 5 K's and how they help Sikhs live a life of faith and spirituality. It was a fantastic way to learn about this rich and fascinating religion!
