In today's Science lesson, children explored the fascinating concept of light. They learnt about light sources and the absence of light, understanding how light enables us to see. The highlight of the lesson was an engaging activity where the children had to guess the contents of a dark box without any light. They recorded their predictions on a sheet and then had the opportunity to peek into the box with a torch to see if it made identifying the objects easier. Finally, they brought the objects into full light to see if their guesses were correct. It was a fantastic lesson to kick start our topic, we had lots of fun exploring!
