This half term our topic is Space and for our departure day we had an online virtual meeting with 'Neil Armstrong'. Neil told us about his mission to be the first man on the moon and explain to us some of the things that happened on this mission. We got to help him land his rocket and we got to ask him questions. As well as learning a lot about Neil Armstrong we also designed our own Mission Badges which we are going to put in our own classroom rocket just like they do in the I.S.S (International Space Station). We also listened to music called 'The Planets' , this was written by classical musician Gustav Holst. To end our day we all received certificates for completing our Apollo Space training.
This was a great way to start our new topic.
