Transition day

This week, our school had its transition days, where Year 4 children moved up to Oak class and Year 2 children joined Sycamore class. The transition days were filled with exciting activities and games to help the children get to know each other better. They had a a lovely time painting their own portraits, creating passports about themselves, and playing fun games like bingo and line-up. They also spent time discussing what they can expect in the upcoming academic year. Additionally, the children worked together to create their own classroom rules, understanding the importance of following them and why they're essential for a positive and productive learning environment. It was so lovely getting to know our current Year 2s and we are supper excited for them to join our Sycamore family!
