Sycamore class have been lucky enough to learn about Hinduism this week. We explored the stories of Diwali and Holi. The children spent time sequencing the story of Holi and writing it for others to enjoy reading. We also watched different videos to explore how Hindu's celebrate Holi and we recorded this in a table.
Whilst learning about the story of Diwali, everyone created their own version of either Rama or Sita using oil pastels. Take a look at the gallery, the pictures are so colourful and vibrant!
Everyone also had a go at creating a clay version of Ganesh. We learnt that people pray to Ganesh before they encounter any major endeavours.
