In art we were looking at layering of colours and painted. We were inspired by the famous artist Banksy who uses layering and colouring to create his work.
We discussed street art and the impact his work has and the differences between street art and graffiti.
Then children then chose an object to paint a silhouette of and then once dried started adding layers of colour to make the painting stand out.
