We were extremely lucky this week to have been visited by local author Daniel Ingram-Brown.

The author spoke with the whole school about his trilogy series: The Firebird Chronicles, as well as Bea's Witch inspired by Knaresborough's Mother Shipton.

Following this, Class 3 were lucky enough to have had their very own author workshop in which we created an extremely terrifying monster that lives in an abandoned mine under the Eiffel Tower! We created a whole world in which we were monster hunters, only to find out that maybe the monster wasn't as scary as we initially thought and actually just needed a friend.

We had so much fun with Daniel Ingram-Brown and have felt so inspired in our writing this week.
