This week we have launched all our new topics!! It started with an exciting book reveal of our class reader Beowulf by Michael Morpurgo!!
We started by looking at our History topic, the Anglo-Saxons and the Scots. We looked at period of history this was in and placed in on a timeline, we also looked where they came from, and why the left and came to Britain.
Then we launched our science topic which is living things and their habitat we had a full afternoon of investigation which started with counting how many petals roses had, we made predictions whether or not we thought all roses had the same amount of petals and were able to answer the question afterwards collecting everyone's data.
We are excited for the term ahead and what we are going to learn about our topics!!
