We had an amazing time arriving at school in our finest clothes with our boarding passes. We boarded the ship along the gangplank in Southampton and waved to all the spectators. Then we moved to the salon where we had a (virtual) tour to show the amazing facilities of the ship from 1911. The children enjoyed drawing pictures of the ship, finding out about the facilities and the menus. We enjoyed a walk along the promenade and had jam tarts wrapped in brown paper with string. Later we learnt how to ballroom dance with a partner and listened to music that we would hear on the Titanic. What an adventure!
