Today, we had our departure day. We explored gadgets from the past, focusing on the evolution of the music player. The children were mesmerised by the Stereo player, with some thinking it was a camera. All of the children had the opportunity to handle the artefacts and see how they were different from their modern versions.
Thank you to all of the those parents that sent in items from their past, the children shared them beautifully. The children completed questionnaires about the artefacts after listening to what they are and how they worked.
Everyone was amazed to see how money has evolved, from shillings and crowns (which were handled with care), all the way to modern Amazon Fresh shops where we can walk in and leave, with computers totalling the amount and taking it automatically from your account.
What a fantastic eye opening afternoon.
