This half term Sycamore have been learning all about food chains. We used our knowledge and further research to construct a variety of different food chains. Our drawings had to include the sun, a producer, a primary consumer (prey) and a secondary consumer (predator). We have also learnt about what a 'decomposer' is and how that would fit into our food chains. Some children used that knowledge to challenge themselves and included that information in their drawings too. It was great to see everybody using what they've learnt from previous lessons, they've really enjoyed this topic.
