We have been learning about homes in the present and the past. The children have learnt about The Great Fire in 1666 and investigated why the fire burned so many houses down. We have learnt about Samuel Pepys and his diary. The children learnt that King Charles II was king at the time of the fire. We acted out the strategies for putting out fires in 1666 and compared them to firefighters now. Look at our fabulous history work.
