We have been observing how a plant grows and what they need to grow into a healthy plant. We set up several experiments.
1: Does cress grow better on soil or on cotton wool? We found it that the cress grew on both sides but it was thicker and longer on the soil side because it got nutrients from the soil.
2: What does a plant need to grow? We set up four bowls with beans in. They were all given different elements to see which grew the best. We left the beans over half term so we can see how much they have grown in a week!
