This week we were lucky enough to have Mr Atkinson come in from Sporting Influence to teach us all about first aid. We learnt what DR ABC stands for and how we could help in an emergency situation. The children practically performed CPR using the dolls. We also learnt how to put someone in the recovery position if their airways were not clear. It was very interesting and the children learnt lots and came away confident that they could help someone if they needed medical assistance until an ambulance arrived.
