We spent time learning about Remembrance Day. We discussed what Remembrance Day is and how we remember the sacrifice made by others. We all remembered visiting the war memorial last year and agreed that it would be nice to lay a wreath. We have started creating our own wreath made with paper poppies - we explored why the British Legion use a poppy.
We then created some collaborative art, working together to create images of poppies. The children could choose whether to use paint, water colour or oil pastel. Some children mixed the materials.
