Our current class book is 'The Firework Maker's Daughter'. It links well with our Geography topic 'Natural Disasters'. Today we explored how the characters may be feeling at different points in the story. We each roleplayed different characters at different points. Some of us played the parts of Chulack and Lila at Mount Merapi, whilst others played the role of Lila when she was younger. We discussed the character's feelings and how it is important to consider the character's emotions when writing. I look forward to reading the children's work!
