After lots of discussion about what makes a great representative for school council we put time aside to carry out school council nominations. We had two rounds to select the candidates for our final round, the speeches. These children were given time to plan their speech and delivered them in class today. As a school we focus upon developing oracy and this was a fantastic opportunity. It was great to see the children use the persuasive techniques we have been learning in English. We are very proud of how well all of the children presented to the class.
