Sycamore Class got stuck into a range of scientific investigations to explore the idea of friction. These included seeing the effect of friction upon marbles rolling in paint, rubbing sticks together, seeing what happens to a ball on a table when the table is raised at one end, and investigating the movement of marbles upon different textures. Everyone got involved in our discussion when reporting our findings. What a fantastic start to a topic!
