We had a fantastic day celebrating books!!
We started by having an amazing assembly by The Hungry Caterpillar (Mrs Askew) which was all about reading for pleasure and finding a genre that you enjoy.
We then had a look at a book together called Freedom Soup, the children loved learning about the tradition behind the book and discussing their own traditions.
Then Oak class created some fantastic book recommendations for our reading scrap book!
Finally the day ended with an enchanting visit from Alice and the Mad Hatter , to stimulate their imagination!!
