Today we celebrated World Maths Day! Our day all revolves around Jelly Beans!!! We used Jelly Beans throughout the day to complete a number of mathematical questions. We started the morning with measurement and learnt about converting units from grams to kilograms to pounds! Then moved on to some algebra problem solving and then finished the morning with using the jelly beans and cocktail sticks to make and understand 3D shapes. In the afternoon we moved into looking at Fractions, decimals and percentages and then went on to an array of problem solving, multi step questions. We had a fun maths day, filled with treats of jelly beans throughout the day to keep our maths brains moving!!!
